This adventure and multimedia documentary accounts for the discoveries made and adventures endured during the first stage, half of this ambitious cycling odyssey : 21,000 kilometres on a bicycle from Norway’s fjords to Tanzania’s fabled Zanzibar on the lookout for Saami, Rom, Yörük, Bedouin, Afar, Hamer, Banna, Karo, Dassanech, Turkana, Pokot, Samburu, Maasai, Twa Pygmy, Barabaig, Datoga, and Hadza nomadic peoples!
Janick Lemieux and Pierre Bouchard created a highly educative, inspirational and entertaining expedition account containing both photos and videos, with the support of an original score composed by Montreal-based recording artist Martin Tremblay, sound samples taken in the field, animated maps, and graphics. The full-length presentation lasts about 2 ½ hours and includes a 15-minute intermission.
The anecdotes collected during the 21-month and 21,000 kilometre mega-mountain bike trek amidst the eclectic and exotic collection of destinations sure compose a vertiginous roller coaster of emo
