A workshop in amongst gardens and forests on a 40-acre property that leads onto the beautiful St, Mary’s Lake.
Facilitator: Lori Craig assisted by Shannon Fraser
Together, Lori and Shannon have created a workshop that will bring writer’s closer to the sensory core of our work. Whether you are new to writing, advanced in writing, working in fiction, non-fiction or poetry, this workshop is designed to appeal to anyone interested in exploring the influence of nature on our writing. The workshop will provide guided exploration into writing within lush gardens, tree filled forest, and lake front exposures. For the pragmatics amongst us, the workshop will offer yet another tool for the ‘Writer’s Tool Kit’, by providing insight into how our writing is enhanced through experiencing nature. For the more ethereal inclined, the workshop is inspired by the long list of writers who experience writing as a connect with the spirit.
